1. first of all create a new account on paytm with your mobile number .
2. Now goto recharge section and type the no. and in amount type Rs20. (max Rs20)
3. now click on proceed to pay.
4. In promo code type FREE20 and click on apply.

If you don't want recharge you can also do data pack recharge under rs20 , but the recharge is better ;)
